Spent here 3 excellent days and would stay here again. The property was cheerful with courteous staff at all times, I appreciated the stay. The hotel was set in a central area right by a conference that had breakfast type items.

My favourite property in Toronto. Cheerful and fairly clean place, courteous staff at all times. Double room with tea, rear value for money, for instance. Lots of goodies for breakfast.

room is medium sized with a tub in the bathroom. shutter covers the light very well at night to rest but during the day if you open it completely you can see everything from the outside, it doesn't have like transparent shutters and room is a little dark because it only has a light coming in and bureau lamps but not a light in the middle. view we had was bad since we could only see the back of another building. service was good only that the room in the two days of stay was not cleaned I do not know if we had to request it. breakfast is very poor it is only cereal, milk, toast, coffee, juice, butter and jams. There are no eggs or fruit. location is very good very easy to reach and nearby there are two mini-supers where you can buy things and later a small bar where you can drink some beer. bathtub is very nice and very relaxing. room is heated and has a TV. For visits where you plan to be out all day it goes very well as it has the basics.
They didn't clean the room.

Rooms were clean and hotel is located close to downtown, price was ok considering it's in Toronto.
The "continental breakfast" was a little poor, only little choice and on plastic dishes, it's not a youth hostel so they should have real plates and mugs. Also the hotel doesn't have an elevator.

hotel, as the name suggests, is simple and unpretentious, room where my husband and I stayed was well decorated, spacious, bright and clean. Just like in the photos provided by the hotel. In spite of being on the first floor and facing a busy street, we didn't mind the noise to sleep. bed was big and comfortable. bathroom, with a simple decoration, spacious and comfortable for two people. hotel is located next to a park, near tram stops and an entrance to the subway. There are all kinds of services in the area.
common areas of the hotel need the reform they have made in the rooms. corridors and stairs have walls with holes and need to be repainted. hotel does not have an elevator. Breakfast is limited: cereal, toast with jam and butter, some fruit and juice. Coffee and tea with milk. However, two days we stayed there was an employee watching that nothing was missing. Just enough for me to start the day. Despite the above, considering the area, comfort of the room and price compared to other accommodations in Toronto, I would not hesitate to repeat

The location was great. We parked the car down a block down the street in a public lot, and were able to leave it there and walk or bike during our stay. We had no trouble with the neighborhood in which the hotel was located. The value for the money was great. Yes it was basic, but we thought that the hotel was comfortable and fit our needs very well. We would definitely stay there again.

I enjoyed the friendly and helpful nature of the staff. The location was excellent with a short walk to Yonge street shopping. The proximity to Ryerson suited my needs. The room was well maintained and staff were always willing to do extra or help fulfill customer needs.
I think the cleaning of the bathrooms could be done a little better. There was an enormous amount of hair on the floor behind the door and the toilet. Not a big deal but a little unappealing.
